University Projects
BA(Hons) Games Development
Falmouth University, Games Academy.
2014 - 2017.
Whilst studying Games, I worked in a professional studio environment, led by amazing game developers . Each team we worked in had a mix of development-disciplines, which really helped with preparing ourselves on a communication level, understanding each others workflows and how to really collaborate with other specialties.

Throughout my time at University, I have picked up a wide range of development skills along design and programming, which have helped with rapid prototyping all of our projects.
Alongside these we had picked up incredibly valuable skills around Agile Methodologies, which I lead as Scrum Master for a number of teams.

Balance
Balance is a peaceful adventure puzzle game, set in a universe separated from the real world. You will adventure through a unique world, phasing between a 2D and 3D reality to solve puzzles and wind the way.

I worked as a level and puzzle designer on this project, working with rapid prototyping to create and polish these puzzles.

In such a large team this was a great start to my development career, as we were able to collaborate effectively and efficiently to create a final, playable version of the game.

Total Alliteration
Total Alliteration is a bullet hell game set inside of a whacky comedic pixel universe.

I worked as a level designer on this product, using Unity Engine and Tiled (map maker).

This was a smaller project in which we only spent a few months working on it, on a game-jam styled product. This was not our most successful project, due to skill restraints within the team.

Fathom
Fathom is a Horror Puzzle game based underwater in the Marianas Trench.

This was a smaller team of limited disciplines, meaning we had to leave our comfort zone and pick up additional roles.

I worked as Mechanic, Level, UI, World and character designer, Front End Programmer (UI programming); 3D artist.

This was definitely a challenge, but was the key project that helped develop my skills to effectively create, test and improve on game designs.
